We are happy to continue our Thanksgiving Weekend tradition of the Reason for the Season 5k.
We are going back to a single start time at 8:30 am. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join us!
Participants will pick up their race packet (which still includes a festive long sleeve tech shirt), starting at 7:30 am.
After crossing the finish line, participants can grab a treat! And we will have our awards ceremony again this year!
RACE FEATURES INCLUDE:
* Event Long Sleeve Tech Shirt
* Timing mats at the Starting Line and Chip Timing for Finish Results by T&H Timing
* All turns will have directional signs
* Water bottles to take on course with you.
* Donuts following the race!
* Age Group Awards.
Proceeds from this 5k will support the Backpack Program for students of KVSC. The Backpack Program is designed to meet the needs of hungry children at times when other resources are not available, especially on weekends. Qualified students are selected by teachers and administrators and sent home every Friday with a backpack full of nutritious, kid-friendly food.
