September 5 Update: Registration for the 2024 Gabe Zimmerman Triple Crown has closed.  We will open registration for the 2025 3-race series in November 2024.

As a reminder, all 2024 Triple Crown participants are registered for the TMC Tucson 10k on September 8th.  You can see the pre-race email sent to all participants here.

Who can sign up?  Anyone!  All ages, all abilities, all bodies -- come run, walk, or roll with us. Remember, $10 of each registration goes directly to BEYOND-Tucson.

Looking for motivation to exercise and stay fit?  We've got you covered with the 2024 edition of Tucson's popular 3-race series.  Build your fitness however you want, whether a 1-Mile, 5k, 4-Mile 10k, or Half-Marathon!  Join us for the Gabe Zimmerman Triple Crown races, raising funds for local charities and celebrating the best of the Southwest!  

The three-race series commemorates Gabe Zimmerman, a Tucson native who lost his life in the January 2011 mass shooting here in Tucson.

Gabe and his dad, Ross, are shown in the photo on this page, during a hike in the Catalinas before he was killed. As we all know, running shows us the power within ourselves. If we can walk or run three miles ​on ​a hot summer night, the ups and downs of daily life are certainly manageable.  If we can climb A-Mountain, we can rise to our other challenges.  

Our goal is to celebrate Gabe and motivate the community to aspire to individual and collective greatness – to work alone and work with others towards those goals we find valuable. . . . to celebrate living, community, and good will . . . to live with love, to live with passion to chase dreams. 

The Gabe Zimmerman Triple Crown is authorized by Ross Zimmerman and the Zimmerman family.  We at Run Tucson are honored to produce this series in Gabe's memory.

The Gabe Zimmerman Triple Crown is supported by Tucson Medical Center, the title sponsor for each of the three races.  We are grateful to TMC's ongoing efforts to promote health and wellness in Southern Arizona and beyond.
